Elementary School

The goal for St. Mary’s School is to provide our elementary students an inclusive and loving environment that not only stimulates academic growth, but emotional and spiritual growth as well.
The St. Mary’s elementary program consists of kindergarten, first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades. The school day is filled with a curriculum which stresses active participation in all phases of a strong academic program and a focus on virtues, personal development, and community. Our small class sizes (average 10 - 12) allows individual attention and differentiated instruction. If individual circumstances require additional resources, enrichment and individual assistance can be provided through our Title 1 Reading Specialist or a teacher that is trained in Response to Intervention strategies.
St. Mary’s School is committed to recognizing individual value, fostering the spiritual growth of each student, and allowing each child to succeed.
Our subject areas in Elementary School are:
English Language Arts, Religion, Math, Social Studies, Science, Health, PE, Art, French, Band, and Music
Fifth Grade students participate in the following sports:
Baseball, Softball, Girls and Boys basketball, Track, Volleyball, and Cross Country
Second Grade students receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion.
